Looking ahead to the 2021-22 school year, AISA has developed an exciting and impactful range of professional learning (PL) experiences for our members. With uncertainty about travel restrictions and a growing appreciation of the benefits of remote learning, AISA’s PL Programme for the next semester is entirely online.

Highlights to look out for:

AISA Leadership Design Challenge, Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th Sept 2021

School leaders are invited to form a group from your leadership team and school board to undertake a design sprint to solve a challenge, overcome a problem or plan for the year ahead. This fast-paced event will be an opportunity for your school team to work together, shape your school’s future and hear how other schools in the region are tackling the issues that matter most to them. The AISA Leadership Design Challenge is a great opportunity to kick off the new school year by bringing your leaders and board members together to focus on the mission ahead.

Free to AISA Members.

Meeting fortnightly, the Practice Group will explore how to lead the NELSI wellbeing workshops for teachers, offer ideas on how to differentiate for colleagues and review the modules as the year goes by. Feedback from the recently concluded pilot stated that participation in the Practice Group was essential for teachers, counsellors, nurses, and school leaders who were leading the NELSI programme with their peers.
