In 2020, the Association of International Schools in Africa’s (AISA) annual conference was, the first time, held as a virtual event.
The event comprised two parts:
In the spirit of Africa’s resilience and innovation, AISA saw the required shift to a virtual event as an opportunity to innovate. We created a virtual learning and networking environment that integrates seamlessly with a world-class learning management system and includes bespoke features that offer the same type of collaborative professional learning that AISA is known for.
Although the Conference Day is past, the learning and networking continues. Please enjoy the recordings of our Conference Day highlights below:
Comprising 12 hours of synchronous and asynchronous learning over a five-week period, and facilitated by highly-respected, world-class facilitators, these workshops are interactive, practical, and personalised.
Focused on the unique realities of international schools in Africa, school leaders, educators and co-professionals participating in these Deep Dives are set up for success in achieving a sustained positive impact on their practice within their schools.
Some of these sessions will be repeated in the next school semester, please contact AISA for more information.
These one-hour-long workshops were facilitated by your colleagues from AISA member schools, sharing what is happening in classrooms across the AISA region to improve student learning.
AISA Associates facilitated interactive presentations in their areas of expertise.
New to the AISA annual conference, the AISA Affinity Groups focused on discussions on current trends in international education.
The Association of International Schools in Africa is dedicated to serving its members throughout Africa during this challenging time. Please let us know if you require additional or specific information, resources and or support, and we will endeavour to assist you as soon as possible.
